Food and Drinks

The Museo de Bellas Artes Gravina is the Museum of Fine arts and is located in the Gravina Palace. There is art work on display from the early medieval period to the 20th century. The Museao Arpuelogico covers 100,000 years of human history. There are displays about the Romans, Greeks, and the middle Ages. The museum also has displays that show the daily life of Roman people.

If you are looking to enjoy the sun and sand, the Playa del Postiguet is the golden sand beach of Alicante. There are rental shops on the beach that offer lounge chairs, sun parasols, and water sports equipment. The beach is also known for is turquoise water. Each day, the safety hazards are updated to let visitors know if it is safe to swim. There is also a play area for children on the beach, which makes it a great spot for families.

Weather and Climate

The weather in Alicante is great for travelling during any time of the year. The summers are hot, and the winters are mild. The average temperature in the summer is 20C to 30C, and the average winter temperature is from 6C to 17C. During September and October, there is a lot of rain. Torrential rain is common during these months, but at other times of the year, there is very little rain.  Most times, the flights to Alicante are not delayed, unless the rain is very bad.
